Both of the two camphor trees, located beside Minamidaimon Kita and Goshamei Shrine, are said to be 1,000 years old, and are large trees reminiscent of the time when Daishi was a child and when Zentsuji was founded. It has been designated as a natural monument in Kagawa Prefecture as “Great Gus in the precincts of Zentsuji Temple”.
